  • reflective paper

This assignment is a two-page,1″ margins, double-spaced reflective paper addressing an academic integrity matter. The paper should discuss three reasons why academic integrity standards exist, reflect on lessons learned from this experience, and explain how this experience may influence future academic decisions and behavior. The writing should be thoughtful, responsible, and analytical, with an emphasis on accountability, ethical reasoning, and personal growth. I will explain additional details in greater depth in a private follow-up discussion.

  • Week 5 Reflection Discussion

    Vasodilators

Vasodilators act primarily on veins or arterioles, however they can act on both types of vessels.

Vasodilation can be produced with a variety of drugs and there are a wide variety of therapeutic applications.

    How they work

    • bullet
    • Drugs that dilate resistance vessels (arterioles) cause a decrease in cardiac afterload.
    • bullet
    • Drugs that dilate capacitance vessels (veins) reduce the force with which blood is returned to the heart, thus reducing preload.

    Two broad categories of hypertension

    Primary (essential) hypertension

    • No identifiable cause
    • Chronic, progressive disorder
    • Population: Older adults, African Americans, postmenopausal women
    • Treated but not cured (lifelong condition)
    • Referred to as essential hypertension

    Secondary hypertension

    • Identifiable primary cause
    • Possible to treat the cause directly
    • Some individuals can actually be cured

    Consequences of Hypertension

    • Heart disease
    • Myocardial infarction (MI)
    • Heart failure
    • Angina pectoris
    • Kidney disease

  • Request for Paraphrasing and Review of Background Report Sec…

I am currently working on a group project for my graduate class, and I would appreciate your help reviewing and paraphrasing a short section of my report.

The attached file contains a draft section that I prepared for our background report. The specific question I am addressing is:

How many people or what percentage of the population are affected by the condition being addressed?

Our project is titled Aquatic Hand, which focuses on developing a hand rehabilitation assistive device for use in aquatic therapy.

I would like your help to:

    • Paraphrase the content in your own words
    • Edit or adjust the wording to sound natural and appropriate for graduate-level writing
    • Make any improvements you think are necessary for clarity or flow

Please feel free to add, remove, or modify content as you see fit. I want to ensure the final version reflects my understanding of the topic and meets academic writing standards.

    • Engage with the “why” and “how” of your topic, exploring causes, consequences, significance, and differing interpretations.

    B. Research & Sources:
