You will complete an individual assignment about the impact of Artificial Intelligence on companies, focusing on employee performance and motivation.

1. Find a recent article or report
   • Search for a current source (from the last 34 years) that discusses how AI is being implemented in companies and how it affects employees work, performance, or motivation.
   • You may use academic articles, consulting reports, or highquality business press (for example: Harvard Business Review, McKinsey, Deloitte, etc.)
2. Identify and report the source
   • At the beginning of your assignment, clearly indicate: title of the article, author(s), year, publication, and a working link (URL) or full bibliographic reference.
3. Summarize the article (objective part)
   • In about 200250 words, summarize what the article says.
   • Use your own words. Do not copy and paste from the article.
4. Write your critical reflection (subjective part)
   • In 400500 words, reflect critically on the article and connect it to what we discuss in class about motivation, performance, and organizational behaviour.
   • At minimum, answer these questions:
     • What potential benefits of AI for employees do you see?
     • What risks or challenges do you identify?
     • If you were a manager, what concrete actions would you take to implement AI in a way that protects and enhances employee motivation and performance?
5. Structure and format
   • Length: around 700800 words in total (summary + reflection).
   • Structure:
     • Summary of the article.
     • Critical reflection and your own opinion.
     • Brief closing sentence with your main takeaway about AI and employees.
6. Evaluation criteria
   • Relevance and quality of the chosen article.
   • Accuracy and clarity of your summary.
   • Depth of your critical reflection (connection to theory, examples, balanced view of pros and cons).
   • Coherence, structure, and quality of written English.
