Lesson plan read aloud

Can you create me a lesson plan for a 1 st or 2nd grade classroom. Use the lesson plan I attached as a guide and make it similar style of writing to that.

For this assignment, with the help from the videos/reading assigned as well as your personal teaching experience, please choose a grade between Pre-K (ages 4-5) and 2nd grade, and create a reading lesson plan focusing on a specific reading strategy. This lesson plan should address an inclusive classroom- students that are below, on, and above grade level.

Given that this assignment is based on a hypothetical class, I’d like for you to think of the following:

  • Differentiation
  • Grouping of students (RTI- low/medium/high risk students)
  • “I Do, We Do, You do” model
  • Assessments (needs to be grade level appropriate)
  • Formal- can be tests/quizzes/projects
  • Informal- can be conferencing with students, playing concept specific games, exit tickets
  • Fluidity of the classroom (stations, centers, partners, etc.)
  • Accommodations (based on hypothetical students: proximity to teacher, visuals, audio support, etc.)
  • Use of manipulatives (I find that no matter what age, the use of manipulatives is more often than not a motivation for students).
  • Manipulatives could be- money, dry erase boards, base-ten blocks, counters, play-doh).

Be as creative as you can/want! After all, we need to enjoy the lessons we teach as well 🙂
