Topic Selection: Choose a specific topic from one of our course textbook chapters. Your paper should address a significant issue or “problem” in the psychological literature.
Textbook:
Schultz, D. P., & Schultz, S. E. (2016). A history of modern psychology (11th ed.). Cengage Learning. ISBN-13: 978-1-305-63004-8
Topic: Alcohol, How it affect the body, mind, etc…
Research Goal: Explore your topic in depth using external academic resources. Your paper must present a unique insight or “intriguing” discovery you made during your researchperhaps a lesser-known aspect of a theory or a finding that changed your perspective.
Technical Requirements:
- Length: Minimum of four (4) full pages of double-spaced content (approx. 1,000 to 1,200 words). This does not include the title page or reference page.
- Formatting: Use 12pt Times New Roman font and follow APA 7th Edition guidelines strictly.
- File Format: Submit as .doc or .docx only. PDFs will not be graded.
- Sources: Use at least three (3) peer-reviewed academic references (journal articles or scholarly books). The course textbook may be used as a fourth source but does not count toward the three-source minimum. Wikipedia is not an acceptable reference.
Originality: This must be your own original work. The use of AI (e.g., ChatGPT) for writing, paraphrasing, or outlining is strictly prohibited and will be treated as plagiarism
