For your first assignment, you will complete a systematic literature review over a topic of your choice that is timely and in the realm of health services research.

Your systemic literature review paper should include an introduction, methods, results, discussion, and conclusion.

• Introduction: An introduction should include a brief overview of your topic. Also, include a justification of why you choose this topic. Why is it so important? Why is it timely? Provide justification including statistics of the problem. This section also includes your study question and aims.
• Methods: Use the PRISMA guide to conduct your literature review. In this section include your PRISMA figure within the text. Your table should have the following columns and include at least 10 articles. Complete the table for each article included in your review. Please reword the text within the table. As you review your literature, you will find a common theme found amongst your review articles. For example, when reviewing hospital closures, you may find a theme of location between rural and urban which you would add that to your theme column.
• Results: In the results section, include a brief review of your columns. Report the numbers of articles screened at each stage using a PRISMA diagram
• Discussion: Summarize the findings. Discuss relevant themes you found in your findings. Refer to the example.
• Conclusion: Final overall review of your paper.

Your paper should be at least 5 pages double spaced not including your table or references. Please use APA formatting with a 12-point Times New Roman Font. Your table should at least have 10 articles. Think about this as an opportunity to submit to a conference (which is why I added the PRISMA aspect).
