Managment homework
In the global trade battle, you cast a vote every time you open your wallet. The decision? Whether you spend your money on products made in America or overseas.
According to a report on ABC News, the facts show that our nation is addicted to imports. In 1960, foreign goods made up just 8 percent of Americans’ purchases. Today, nearly 60 percent of everything we buy is made overseas.
Consumers regularly tackle the key questions: Is buying American-made more expensive? What staples are no longer manufactured in the U.S. at all? And what difference would it make if everyone promised to buy more American-made products?
There’s no question that manufacturing still has a major impact on our economy and on the nation’s workforce. The United States has fewer manufacturing jobs now than we did in 1941, but if every American spent an extra $3.33 on U.S.-made goods, it would create almost 10,000 new jobs in this country.
You most likely have heard the slogan Buy American. Many labor unions urge Americans to buy products made in the United States, because that helps retain jobs for American workers. On the other hand, some Americans ask why they should buy American products if they cost more or their quality or style is not as good as that of foreign-made products. But as youve seen, it isnt always easy for consumers to know the country of ownership of many products they buy.
According to the Federal Trade Commission, Made in USA means that all or virtually
all the product has been made in America. That is, all significant parts, processing and labor
that go into the product must be of U.S. origin. That is, the product should contain no or negligible foreign content.” This is often difficult for consumers to determine.Check out this article
Use the discussion prompts below as a guide to making your initial post.
Discussion Prompts:
- Both the Made in America movement and the increase in Global Business have an effect on managers. What are the primary changes these movements will have on how manager’s do their jobs?
- What skills are important in the age of global business? Why?
- How does globalization affect your life and that of your family and friends? Do you Buy American or don’t care?
- How can you improve your awareness and empathy for diverse groups.
- Should people in the United States demand companies bring back jobs? Explain your answer.
- Overall, are the effects of foreign trade more positive or negative your the country? Explain your answer.
The initial post of 300 words is due before midnight on Thursday. Two (2) 150-word reply posts to classmates that responded to your initial post are due by midnight Sunday. Use the chapter concepts and terminology in all posts to demonstrate knowledge. Each post is required to be unique and add something significant or substantial to the discussion. For that reason, I AGREE type posts are not acceptable submissions. Posts should demonstrate critical thinking. proper spelling, punctuation, grammar and paragraphs are expected. Please refer to the Guidelines for Discussion Forum Posts in the START HERE MODULE or the Syllabus for complete requirements.

presentation school aged
Step 1: For this assignment, students will create a video presentation performing a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation of A SCHOOL-AGE CHILD (11 YEAR OLD IN THIS CASE). You are expected to choose a child and an adult to conduct an interview with. The child and parent are not required to be actual clinic patients, but merely someone who has agreed to perform the interview with you (IT WILL BE AN 11 YEAR OLD AND HIS FATHER). You will be graded on your interview skills when interviewing the persons performing as a school age and a parent. You are expected to ask the patient and the parent questions the same way you do with your patients in the clinic. Both should be available virtually or in-person to answer questions. You may use a Zoom/video call to assess the simulated patient if you do not have a child/parent you can assess face to face.
I expect that you will conduct a mental status exam during the interview. If you don’t ask it or explain how you observed it, then don’t document it. Only the information asked in the video will be used for grading.
Use the rubric as a guide for collecting data. Don’t miss points because something was not addressed.
Step 2: Each student will create a focused SOAP note or PowerPoint presentation. SOAP is an acronym that stands for Subjective, Objective, Assessment, and Plan. The comprehensive psychiatric SOAP note or PowerPoint is to be written using the attached template below. Do not provide a voiceover or video for the PowerPoint. Only the information asked in the video will be used for grading.
S =
Subjective data: Patients Chief Complaint (CC); History of the Present Illness (HPI)/ Demographics; History of the Present Illness (HPI) that includes the presenting problem and the 8 dimensions of the problem (OLDCARTS or PQRST); Review of Systems (ROS). () for more details
O =
Objective data: Medications; Allergies; Past medical history; Family psychiatric history; Past surgical history; Psychiatric history, Social history; Labs and screening tools; Vital signs; and Mental Status Exam
A =
Assessment: Primary Diagnosis and two differential diagnoses including ICD-10 and DSM5 codes
P =
Plan: Pharmacologic and Non-pharmacologic treatment plan; diagnostic testing/screening tools, patient/family teaching, referral, and follow up
Other:Incorporate current clinical guidelines ( ) or (), research articles, and the role of the PMHNP in your presentation.
Reminder: It is important that you complete this assessment using your critical thinking skills. You are expected to synthesize your clinical assessment, formulate a psychiatric diagnosis, and develop a treatment plan independently. It is not acceptable to document “my preceptor made this diagnosis.” An example of the appropriate descriptors of the clinical evaluation is listed below. It is not acceptable to document within normal limits.
use Graduate Mental Status Exam Guide

Incorporate a minimum of four current (published within the last five years) scholarly journal articles or primary legal sources (statutes, court opinions) within your work. Journal articles and books should be referenced according to APA style, 7th Edition (the library has a copy of the APA Manual).
- Rubric will be uploaded. Do not use AI, or plagiarism. Upload plagiarism report

Which ads are more effective and why? If its helpful, consider the appeals of ads reprinted in this text. A complete list of ads follows the Detailed Table of Contents.)
