1. Assignment Purpose

This assignment requires you to design, plan, and structure your own project using project management tools learned in the course.

The project should:

• Be new, realistic, and preferably related to your professional environment
• Or be an existing project that lacks formal planning and documentation
• Be clearly linked to the hospitality industry (hotels, F&B, events, tourism, luxury services, etc.)
• Be feasible and implementable, not theoretical only

The aim is to demonstrate your ability to apply project management methodologies in practice, not just explain theory.

2. Learning Outcomes

Through this project, you must demonstrate that you can:

1. Apply project management tools for planning, execution, and control
2. Design a project that meets stakeholder needs and business objectives
3. Develop a comprehensive project plan covering initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and control

3. Report Structure (Mandatory)

Your report must follow this structure:

A. Cover Page

Should be professional and include:

• Logo
• Course name
• Instructor name
• Your full name
• Student ID
• Semester

B. Table of Contents

A clear and properly formatted table of contents.

C. Statement of Authorship

A separate page immediately after the cover page containing the provided authorship declaration text, including:

• Your full name
• Student ID
• Signature

4. Main Report Content

I. General Information

This section introduces the project and provides context. It must include:

1. Project Main Objective
   • What is the project about?
   • Why is it needed?
   • What value does it bring to the organization or yourself?
2. Hospitality Sector Description
   • Describe the sector relevant to your project (e.g., luxury hotel, urban hospitality, fine dining, event management, etc.)
3. Location Details (if applicable)
   • Project location
   • Google Earth images or photos of the site/area

II. Project Initiation

This section focuses on formally starting the project and must include a Project Charter, covering:

• Project Objectives
• Project Scope (what is included and excluded)
• Project Purpose (why the project exists)

III. Project Planning (Most Important Section)

This is the core of the assignment and carries the highest weight.

2. RACI Matrix

IV. Project Execution

This section explains how the project will be managed during implementation.
