    Instructions:

    Select a television series, movie, or documentary in which a main character is autistic. After watching the media, provide a written response using APA style formatting, including the following elements:

    • Identify the neurodivergent character and/or themes.
    • Identify the autistic characteristics portrayed by the character.
    • Identify the stereotypes or misconceptions that occur, and provide an analysis of why they are considered stereotypes.
    • Compare and contrast your initial thoughts from the IRIS Module Perceptions of Disability to the representation of the autistic individual in the selected media.
    • Critically analyze the accuracy and authenticity of the way the autistic individual is represented.
    • Discuss the potential impact of those stereotypes and representation on societal perceptions toward neurodivergence and the Neurodiversity Movement.
    • Discuss the ways in which other characters or the context could be adapted to be more accepting and/or affirming of the main character’s neurodivergence.

To clarify and understand what an ethical dilemma is you need to identify whothe problem affects (groups, organizations customers). What is the issue (opposing sides or beliefs)? What impact is the issue causing? What would happen if the ethical dilemma were not solved?

    The aim of this assignment is for students to identify their core beliefs and positions on a specific ethical dilemma, discuss a clinically relevant scenario, and apply multiple perspectives or concepts to an ethical issue. Students will be divided into teams, based on clinical groups. Teams will be asked to prepare a 10-minute presentation on their ethical dilemma, covering an overview of their dilemma
