  • Mba 500 Module 8 consulting report

    Overview

You explored the significance of ethical considerations and their implications for business decisions. Todays organizations are no longer in the situation of being able to disregard or become oblivious to the prevalence of unethical behaviors and misdemeanors.

Its now time to unpack the ethical considerations that organizations must not overlook in business operations.

As a consultant, you will often come across situations that require you to identify and address ethical and legal considerations. You might even come across situations wherein you will find an overlap between ethical considerations and legal issues in a business situation.

The legal team at the health and beauty company you work for is currently reviewing all the documents you have looked at so far. Their objective is to highlight potential ethical and legal issues that the company may be opening itself up to.

    Prompt

    To complete this assignment:

    1. Review the Case Study: RealResponse provided in the textbook.
      • Explore (formerly RealRecruit) for additional information on their latest initiatives.
    2. Write a consulting report to share your observations and recommendations based on the RealResponse case, and address the following criteria:
      1. Identify one ethical consideration adopted by RealResponse that your organization can also adopt as a best practice. Explain the reason.
      2. When adopting your identified best practice, what could be an overlap between the ethical consideration and a possible legal issue? How would you address and resolve the overlap? If the overlap cannot be resolved, explain why.

    What to Submit

In a Word document, use double-spacing, 12-point Times New Roman font, and one-inch margins. This consulting report should be 2 pages in length and include references cited in APA format. Consult the for more information on citations.

    Assignment Instructions

Your task is to create a dynamic marketing dashboard of your choice using the as your data source.
Note: This dataset was generated by AI and is not intended for interpretation or deriving insights.

The objective and target audience of the dashboard are up to you, as is the selection of key metrics. Please make sure that the dashboard title clearly reflects its purpose (e.g., e-commerce dashboard, customer segmentation dashboard).

To support your work, you may use online templates, resources (e.g., YouTube videos), and AIanything that helps you complete the task efficiently. However, the dashboard must be dynamic (i.e., it updates when filters are applied), so it cannot be generated by AI.

As you build your dashboard, be sure to carefully consider the selection of key metrics and the overall design and layout. Your dashboard should contain all of the following:

    • Key metrics useful for deriving insights
    • At least 1 filter/slicer
    • Title
    • Consistent and organized layout where every chart is clearly labeled and follows the golden rule (time, ink, space)

    Overview

A dashboard is a collection of charts and analyses. Executive dashboards play a significant role in business intelligence. They provide vital information at a glance and a deeper understanding of an organizations current situation. Dashboards are used as a point in time, a high-level view of a business or organization.

In this scenario, you will continue to work as a consultant trainee with the TC Ice Cream management team. The team has requested that you create a dashboard so leadership can effectively and efficiently have key insights about their sales revenue. Remember that TC Ice Cream is interested in whether specific trends are identified that can help grow its business through improved operations and sales. You are required to identify three key charts and a regression for presenting your analysis. The dashboard should depict clear insights from your analysis and findings.

    Prompt

Specifically, you must address the following rubric criteria:

    1. Identify key charts for the dashboard.
      • Use your completed worksheets in the to complete this step.
      • Identify three charts that you created in previous modules to include in your dashboard.
    2. Create key slicers for the dashboard.
      • Use the Dashboard sheet to create the dashboard.
      • You should have three slicers for the dashboard that interact with the three charts on the dashboard sheet.
      • The slicers will enable the dashboard user to filter (slice) the data by date and flavor.
    3. Identify a key regression for the dashboard.
      • Use your completed worksheets in the TC Ice Cream Excel Workbook to complete this step.
      • Identify one regression that you created in previous modules to include in your dashboard.
    4. Create a table that summarizes the regression models created in previous modules.
      • The table should show your dependent variable, independent variable(s), the linear regression formula, p values for the independent variable, and R2.
      • The table should consist of all regression models created.
      • You do not need to paste the entire output of the regression models.
    5. Create a dashboard that includes the following:
      • Three key charts identified from previous modules
      • One table that summarizes the identified regression from previous modules
      • Slicers that interact with the three key charts on the dashboard sheet
      • A header and title
    6. Create a PowerPoint Presentation to explain why you chose the identified charts and regression, including key visualizations and analysis to support your answers.
      • Using the three charts you created in the dashboard, along with the slicers, display the charts summarizing your specific division and flavors you have used throughout the modules.
      • Display the regression table and provide a high-level analysis. Which of the regression models have a greater impact on the quantity sold variable for the division and flavors used throughout the modules?

Please add citation, page number, APA style and references.

Section A) Identify what you believe are Greenvale Correctional Facilitys key issues. Explain your assessment process and the factors you considered during your analysis. Be sure to include how organizational culture affects assessment in organizations.

Reading: Organizational culture is so ubiquitous that it affects all areas of group life. Though organizational culture is not always immediately obvious in organizations, its outcomes (e.g., turnover, morale, productivity) can be. Some workplaces require employees to wear business attire whereas others allow employees to dress casually. In some workplaces, formal address is used and in others, people use first names regardless of position. Both examples reflect organizational norms, or the way we do things around here, otherwise known as organizational culture . Organizational culture may be subtle yet pervasive and may have a profound effect on employee attitudes and behavior.

Organizational culture affects each of the levels of organizational assessment: individual, small group, large group, intergroup, and organization. As an organizational consultant or practitioner, it is beneficial to have a toolbox of assessments for organizational evaluation for each of these levels. By assessing organizational culture, practitioners and consultants can then develop evidence-based interventions to address the issues identified by the assessment and evaluation processes.

Consider how the information above may be applied to the Greenvale Correctional Facility case study that follows. Greenvale Correctional Facility is a large, privately-owned, medium-security prison in the southeastern United States. The prison opened in 1988, and, until recently, it employed 300 security, operational, facilities, maintenance, healthcare, and administrative employees.

The prisons salary and benefit structure are comparable to other prison systems around the country. However, Greenvale is currently experiencing significant attrition, creating an unsafe and unstable environment, both for the inmates and remaining employees. Staff has been reduced from 300 to 210 employees during the last 6 months, and attempts to recruit and hire new staff have been challenging. Online recruitment, employee sourcing, and participation in various job fairs have not created a plentiful base of trained, experienced employment candidates, and efforts to retain existing personnel have been unsuccessful. Exit interview data point to leadership issues, and poor working conditions.

Prison leadership is comprised of Warden Bob Jones, who started at Greenvale when it first opened; Sergeant Dave Lee, the senior-level correctional leader with over 15 years of experience; and Officer Stan Phillips, a correctional manager who joined the leadership team in 2015. All three leaders work collaboratively, but they tend to remain siloed away from the other employees. All of the prisons communications are top-down and authoritative; the leadership team believes this style is necessary given the work environment and inherent risks involved. While the team believes they are fostering a management-by-objectives culture, many employees feel excluded from the process and perceive more of an in-group/out-group mindset. Consequently, several recent attempts to implement new policies and procedures have met with resistance from the current employees.

    Section B)

Consider the similarities and differences between family owned businesses and traditional (non-family owned) businesses. Submit a 2- to 3- page paper written in APA format and style, that discusses the following:

    • The similarities and differences of making informed assessment in traditional (non-family owned) and family-owned businesses (FOBs)
    • Factors within family-owned businesses that are different from traditional businesses, and how these could impact the ODs ability to effectively assess and evaluate issues
    • The role of family systems theory in consulting for FOBs

  • Determine unknown molecule structure using IR, H NMR, and C…

I have an organic chemistry assignment where I must determine the structure of an unknown compound using the empirical formula and spectroscopic data (IR, H NMR, and C NMR). The compound formula is C8H5NO2.

I need help analyzing the spectra, determining the degrees of unsaturation, identifying functional groups from the IR, interpreting the NMR signals (number of signals, chemical shifts, splitting), and confirming the correct structure.

The assignment also requires explaining the reasoning clearly for a short video (under 4 minutes), so I would like the final structure, the analysis steps, and simple explanations I can use when presenting.

Case B: Ethical Leadership & Social Responsibility Chipotles Food Safety Crisis
Use an HBR or equivalent case plus Paines Value Shift, Collins Level 5 leadership.

    Focus themes:
Food sourcing, supplier controls, and culture.
Transparency and communication with regulators, media, and guests.
CEO posture: humility vs. defensiveness, learning vs. blame.
Long term brand recovery and operational redesign.

    Specific questions:
    1. In what ways did Chipotles leadership embodyor fail to embodyLevel 5 leadership during the crisis? Be specific about humility, accountability, and long term orientation.
    2. Apply Paines Value Shift framework: what values came into conflict (e.g., growth, cost, speed, safety, transparency)? How were these conflicts resolved in practice?
    3. Evaluate the companys crisis communication: What did they do well? Where did they fall short in terms of honesty, timeliness, empathy, or responsibility?
    4. Imagine you are brought in as a new Chief Food Safety & Integrity Officer reporting directly to the CEO. Outline your first years agenda in three domains: (a) operations and supply chain, (b) culture and training, (c) external accountability and transparency.

Optional activity: Crisis management simulation & ethics forum
Run a synchronous simulation where students play CEO, COO, HR, Legal, PR, and Unit GM roles responding to a new outbreak or social media crisis.
Follow with an asynchronous ethics forum where students reflect on:
The pressures they felt in their role.
Ethical shortcuts they were tempted to take.
How frameworks from Northouse, Collins, and Paine would have improved their decisions.
