Different personalities have different behavioral characteristics, tastes and preferences. It is therefore possible that different personalities may suit different types of careers. If one selects an occupation which matches with one’s personality one is assured of long-term career success and job satisfaction. This purpose of this discussion is to allow students an opportunity to assess their personality and then determine if it matches with their current job or the career which they hope to pursue in the future.

Task(s):

Assess your personality. You could use the questionnaire provided on Page 61 of your textbook or use any other personality assessment tool which you may have identified on the internet.

Now describe your personality in five words in your post. Also explain do you think your personality matches with your current occupation if you are working. Or the profession you hope to pursue after the completion of your degree program.

Also don’t forget to reply to the postings of any two of your classmates.
