Curriculum Design Project Assignment Instructions

Literature Review Assignment Instructions
For this assignment, you will write a literature review focusing on a curriculum and/or curriculum leadership issue. A literature review does not attempt to answer a research question; rather, it is a survey of scholarly sources that provides a summary and synthesis of the literature chosen.
For your Annotated Bibliography Assignment, you selected your topic of study and developed annotations of 10 sources to help you with research for your literature review. This assignment builds on the annotated bibliography. Additionally, you developed a Synthesis Paper Assignment and Synthesis Presentation Assignment using more modern and several seminal theorists, which will provide quality information for your literature review.
Ensure your assignment follows current APA style and contains in-text citations, a running head, page numbers, and at least 2 levels of headings. Your literature review must be 1315 pages of content, include a minimum of 10 scholarly sources, and include a theory section based on the topic under study. The topic should be original and well thought out to support an interesting study for advanced research. The review should also include an engaging introduction and conclusion that summarize the topic and research. You will create a 2030-slide presentation in PowerPoint designed to provide an interactive professional development experience for teachers.

Overview
The main assignments for this course are wrapped into the Research Design Project. This project has three pre-matrix tables that will inform three matrices. Each table and matrix address basic and applied research that is quantitative, qualitative, mixed methods, action research and/or program evaluation. For each table, you will be finding education research articles on the same topic using the specified research design(s). For the matrices, you will be identifying methods information and critiquing the studies. This assignment helps you learn how to evaluate research, identify the main components of good research, and start building your literature review.
