Select your program (which will likely include communicating with your key stakeholders) as soon as possible. • Part of an effective evaluation report is accessibility in writing and in formatting. This means that the reader can easily understand what you write and can easily follow the visual logic of the document. To accomplish this most effectively, you will likely NOT use APA formatting.

For this discussion, you will create a post in response to the following two vignettes provided below.

Part I

A pre-K student at Sunnyside Elementary school, where you are a 2nd grade teacher, was not allowed to enroll because the parents could not provide proof the student was a U.S. citizen. There was a meeting about this situation and most of the faculty and administrators agreed that not admitting the student was the right thing to do.

Describe how you would address your colleagues. Please make sure that your arguments/perspectives are based on legal statutes that you have read about.

Its the beginning of the new school year and you have noticed that your school has hired several teachers who were not trained in the state of Florida. You have also noticed that several of the teachers have very little tolerance for students who speak their native languages in the classroom, and often tell them to speak in English only. You are quite concerned that some of the laws regarding ELLs are being violated.

Describe how you would respond to this situation. Please make sure that your arguments/perspectives are based on legal statutes that you have read about.
