My research question is attached to the files along with a template on how to do this. Please do not use any AI

Length: The submission should be at least 5 pages and not more than 6 pages. The 6 pages does not include references, and appendices.

.[ Take note- Updated Mar 3] Grading for this assignment will be stricter. Please adhere to all instructions. When in doubt. confirm

The final assignment assesses your mastery of selecting and using appropriate research methods to provide insight into an existing problem or unanswered question.

Your research proposals should contain the following components:

    • Title and author(s): The title of the work and the names of the authors ( 2-3 lines)
    • Introduction: The research problem and research questions you want to answer-what is the problem and research question, and why they are important (1 page, about 2 – 3 paragraphs)
    • Literature review: summary of what others have said about your problem, what is missing and why there’s missing knowledge (about 2 pages)
    • Methodology:(about 1 page)
      • Proposed Data Collection: How you will conduct the research, such as Context, Participants, and Data Collection Methods, including justification for your choice of methods and sampling rationale.
      • Proposed Data Analysis: How will the data be analyzed? Qualitative Analysis? Quantitative Analysis? What will you do with the data that you have? Possibly a sample of pilot data or a mock-up that shows what a full study could potentially look like. For example, 2 interviews could serve as a sample of pilot data
    • Discussion: The importance of what the findings could be- highlight what this means to society and to knowledge in this field. Feel free to speculate about potential findings. (1 – 2 paragraphs).
    • Ethics: Reflect on the ethics of your research (about 1-3 sentences)
    • Limitations: The limitations of the proposal (about 1 -3 sentences)
    • Conclusion: A brief reiteration of the research problem, proposed method, and the discussion (about 1-3 sentences)
    • References (full references for all works mentioned or cited),

  • Critical Appraisal Quantitative

I will be providing the article and format for the assignment.

With your Research Partner select an article, related to your area of clinical/programmatic study. The article you choose must be a primary research report published in the past 5 years and use one of the following quantitative research designs (randomized controlled trial or quasi-experimental design). Complete and submit the appropriate Rapid Critical Appraisal Checklist. Use the eLibrary to find at least two references, not in your assigned readings, that provides information about the research design of the study you chose to appraise. Include a comment about the research design from both of these references in your summary statement on the Rapid Critical Appraisal Checklist. Use the Rapid Critical Appraisal Checklist directions and the Grading Rubric for this assignment to help you complete the checklist with the required information with the appropriate level of detail. Your response to each question should clearly indicate the name of the research partner taking lead on the response. Your paper should reflect an integration of the combined efforts of research partners and include a statement indicating the specific contribution of each research partner to this group assignment. The reference list should demonstrate the ability of each research partner to use APA formatting, for example each group member should indicate which source on the reference list they formatting in APA and which group member was responsible for constructing the reference list in APA format.

  • Research Logic Model Draft

A Research Logic Model is a visual representation of the research activities designed to evaluate the impact, efficiency, effectiveness, or success of the policy, program or initiative reflected in the Program Logic Model. The two models are related. Research Logic Models are designed to answer specific research questions aligned with expected outcomes. Research Logic Models allow us to examine broader questions of impact and change (See Table 1 and 2 below).

    Data Source

    Type of Data

How does integration of MAXQDA and other technologies impact students degree completion?

    *Focus group interviews.

    *Doctoral Candidate Survey.

*Narratives generated from focus group interviews.

    *Survey Data – categorical

How does shifting the qualitative research classes to a semester format shape students capacity to engage in qualitative research?

    *Mentor Journal

    *CANVAS – Course Assessments

*Comments on drafts of students dissertation proposals.

*Notes from meetings with Dissertation Students.

    *Rubrics in qualitative research courses.

How does the creation of a user group influence doctoral candidates adoption of technology when conducting research?

    *CANVAS Course Assessments.

*Notes on students capacity to utilize technology in their research.

*Rubrics in qualitative research courses & LPL 875.

Research questions should be a reflection of the organizations larger goals and/or strategic initiatives. For example, how does the Title I program support instruction? What types of existing data could you rely on in a school district to answer this question? How have anti-DEI policies impacted the racial demographics of matriculating students across different types of post-secondary institutions? At a program level, how does X program impact students willingness to attend classes regularly?

Data sources are a list of the existing data or variables that can be used to effectively answer the research questions. It also reveals the gaps in data and the need for data collection.

Type of Data categorizes the type of data.

Data Analysis indicates how you will analyze the data, qualitatively, quantitatively, or the interaction between the two.
