In your post:

  • Briefly explain what stands out to you about this situation.
  • Respond to at least TWO of the following:
    • Who was affected by this situation, and was the companys response justified?
    • When companies try to protect intellectual property, where should the line be drawn to avoid harming others?
    • How does this case shape your understanding of ownership in the digital world?
    • Where do you encounter intellectual property in your daily life (music, memes, AI tools, school materials, etc.), and how do you decide what is okay to use or share?
    • What is one question this situation raises for you about copyright, ethics, or digital ownership?
  • Make a real-world connection:
    • Have you seen something similar happen online?
    • How would you respond if your own content was affected?
  • Reflect on ethics:
    • What responsibilities do companies, users, or platforms have in situations like this?
    • Why do those responsibilities matter?
