One statistical graph that is relevant to my daily life is a bar graph showing the average daily screen time of teenagers. According to data from Common Sense Media, teenagers spend an average of about 7 to 9 hours per day using screens for entertainment, including social media, gaming, and watching videos.
The graph presents different categories such as social media, video streaming, gaming, and other online activities. Among these, social media and video streaming have the highest number of hours. This means that most teenagers spend a large portion of their day scrolling through apps or watching content online. On the other hand, activities like reading or educational use take up a much smaller portion of the time.
This data is very applicable to my life because I also spend a significant amount of time on my phone every day. Whether it is chatting with friends, watching videos, or browsing social media, I can relate to the trend shown in the graph. Sometimes, I dont even notice how many hours have passed while using my device. This graph made me realize that excessive screen time is common among teenagers, but it can also affect productivity, sleep, and overall health.
In conclusion, the graph clearly shows how screen time dominates the daily routine of teenagers. It reflects real-life behavior, including mine, and reminds me to be more mindful of how I manage my time and balance my activities.
