Step 2: Importance of Diverse Segments & Cultural backgrounds

Create an Executive Summary on the importance of diverse segments and different cultural backgrounds for any company. You can find a template online or create one yourself. Include the following in your Executive Summary:

  • Introduction
  • Topic of Discussion (importance of diverse segments and different cultural backgrounds for any company).
  • The role of diverse segments (e.g., race, gender, generations, disability), including examples from your research.
  • The impact of cultural backgrounds on innovation and employee engagement, and market success, including examples from your research.

Step 3: Real-World Evidence

  • Provide at least one real-world example or article (within the past five years) of a company that has publicly shown the importance of diverse segments to them.
  • Describe the company and the industry they are in (Banking, Retail, etc.).
  • Describe what this company has done to show how important its diversity is and how it has benefited the company as a whole.
  • Provide at least one real-world example or article (within the past five years) of a company that has benefited from the different cultural backgrounds (Spanish, Asian, Indian, etc.) at their company.
  • Describe some of the cultures at the company.
  • Describe how they have specifically impacted success.
