Human cell have 23 pairs of chromosome

Human chromosomes are thread-like structures found inside the nucleus of cells.

They carry genetic information in the form of DNA.

Humans normally have 46 chromosomes in each body cell.

These 46 chromosomes are arranged in 23 pairs.

One set of chromosomes comes from the mother and the other from the father.

Chromosomes contain thousands of genes that control body features and functions.

The first 22 pairs are called autosomes.

The 23rd pair is called sex chromosomes, which determine gender.

Females usually have XX chromosomes, while males have XY chromosomes
