Leadership Self-Assessment Report Instructions
Assignment Overview:
Prepare a 23-page business report (single spaced) in which you analyze your leadership strengths and develop a statement of who you are as a leader. This report should reflect insights from self-assessments and feedback collected from others.
Purpose:
Your leader is interested in your development and wants you to reflect on your strengths, communication abilities, values, and areas for improvement. You will also set SMART goals for growth.
Requirements:
1. Self-Assessments:
– Complete at least three leadership self-assessments.
– Reflect on results related to strengths, skills, and areas of improvement.
– Explain whether results surprised you or confirmed your self-perception.
– Describe how you currently use these strengths.
– Include citations (APA format) and URLs for each assessment.
– Include screenshots of your results (can be placed in the appendix).
2. Collect Feedback:
– Gather feedback from 35 people who know you well (identify 610 people in case some do not respond).
– Suggested sources: colleagues, friends, family, customers, or others.
– Ask the following questions:
– Summarize the feedback and identify common themes.
– Compare feedback with your self-assessment results and personal perceptions.
3. Personal SWOT Analysis:
– Develop a full written SWOT analysis:
– Include a 4-square visual summary (table or chart).
4. Growth Opportunities:
– Identify 12 areas for improvement.
– Reflect on how you felt about these findings.
– Describe actionable steps to improve.
5. SMART Goals:
– Create at least one SMART goal:

– Write a clear statement describing who you are as a leader.
