Project Directions – Each student will be assigned to a self-managed, virtual project team that will complete an assignment (see syllabus for details), which will be submitted (in report form) at the end of the semester.
A virtual team is one whose members interact primarily through electronic communications. In this globalized, digital age, organizations often utilize virtual teams to allow geographically dispersed employees to collaborate to achieve goals. Thus, it is appropriate, especially for this online class, for you to receive this experience.
The project requires a high degree of professionalism and ethics, and a team effort is essential. Peer evaluations do count toward the final project grade, and therefore, social loafers will be penalized.
