This activity is designed to teach you how to create a linear schedule using Microsoft Excel. Please download the Activity #15 Starter File and follow the instructions below.
Background:
Not all projects will be scheduled with the CPM method. Understanding how to create schedules using other techniques is an important skill for any project manager.
Task:
Create a linear schedule for the project in the Activity #15 Starter File
-Review the provided activities
-Review the provided production rates
-Review the provided sequence
-Create a velocity diagram for the 1st activity
-Add velocity diagrams for each additional activity
-Look for conflicts and buffers
Delivery Method:
Include your name in the cells above and the Activity Number: Activity #15
Upload the Excel file when completed
Save your files as: ACT15_Lastname
