- Discuss how this culture defines health, describing their views on health, wellness, and the health care system.
- Discuss how racism, prejudice, trust, cultural trauma, stigma, and bias impact the health of your chosen group. Refer to Chapter 3 of this topics textbook reading and the topic Resource Bias in Healthcare an Overview to support your response.
- Explain how you as an AGACNP can engage patients and families from this group as active participants in culturally relevant, patient-centered care through appropriate education, consultation, and support.
