Assignment on Project Elaboration

Introduction

For this assignment you are to prepare a presentation to the meeting of key stakeholders on what you have found.

Create activity diagrams based the selected use cases.

Create state diagrams to show some of the workings of your application (chapter 29).

For your use cases, create at least one include relationship and one extend relationship (chap 30)

Refine the domain model (chapter 31) with

• generalizations
  • conceptual superclasses and subclasses
  • abstract conceptual classes
• association classes (many 1; many-many in the attributes)
• composition

Add or update any UML documents that are needed for the modules that will be coded in this iteration. Review the list of documents in the assignment for iteration 1 of the elaboration phase to make sure you haven’t missed any that need to be included.

• 100% of the proposed use cases in your use case diagram should be implemented and this will be the prototype version 2 in the last elaboration. 20 points are assigned to this prototype version 2. All interfaces should be connected to the database system.
• Github URL with all project material needs to be uploaded in the “Github” folder in the D2L to get 10 points.

(Assignment 3 is based on chapters 27-34, which are the chapters of iteration 3 of the elaboration phase.)

Format

This assignment should be ready to present at the review meeting. The presentation should be in PowerPoint. Your assignment will probably be 20 to 30 slides. Check the syllabus for acceptable file name format.
