WRIT 1120
Professor Rzicznek
Spring 2026
Essay #4: Narrative Self-Reflection
Due: Friday, May 1 by 5:00pm
The instructions for your final writing task of the semester are simple: write about why you think you should pass WRIT 1120.
A few suggestions:
-Please use I to write this essay. You should be writing about your experiences as a writer during this semester!
-Focus on arguing why you think you should pass 1120. What exactly have you learned this semester? How have you improved as a reader, researcher, and writer? (Write multiple paragraphs for each!) What areas of academic writing (and scholarly work in general) do you still find challenging and how do you plan to overcome these challenges outside of WRIT 1120?
-Please consider me your one and only audience.
-Please use direct quotes from your essays (including early drafts as well as revisions) to provide evidence and support for your argument. No need to cite yourself or include a Works Cited page (unless you have reason to include sources from beyond your own writing).
-Be sure to thoughtfully compose and proofread your essay. Think of this as your application for life beyond WRIT 1120!
