Provide one scholarly definition of the sociological perspective with accurate citation.

Step 4: Major Sociological Perspectives

Discuss the major sociological perspectives covered in class. For each perspective, you must:

Define the perspective

Provide relevant examples

Identify key scholars/sociologists who contributed to its development

Discuss the merits (strengths) and demerits (limitations) of the perspective

Formatting Instructions:

Cover Page: Students First & Last name, Course and section number, date for the paper, Professors name

Font: 12-point, Times New Roman 1-inch margins on all sides of your paper Double spacing.

Use APA format for citations. You must include in-text citations in your paper. You will use the textbook for your in-texts citations. Your paper must include at least (5) sociological key terms (see the glossary in the chapter 1) from the required textbook.

A Reference Page: Must have a citation/ work cited page.

In-text citation is MUST. Citations, grammar, punctuation, spelling, and style will be accounted for. Reach out to the Student Success Center if needed

3-4-page paper doubled-spaced, minimum of 800 words. Word counts include the main text/ body of the assignment. It does not include the work cited page/ front page, etc.

Submission Format: Your paper must be in a Microsoft Word document or PDF file and submitted to Blackboard in the correct submission folder before the deadline.

Any attempted submissions via email will not be accepted.

Please remember to include a cover sheet and reference page. Paper can be 3 to 4 pages in length or min. 800 word count!
