Here’s how you can record a video on Zoom:
- Log into Oakwood’s Zoom and start a meeting.
- Turn on your camera.
- Click the “Share Screen” button and choose the window with the model essay opened.
- Start recording: Click the “Record” button in the Zoom toolbar at the bottom of the screen. Choose “Record on this Computer.”
- When you’re done recording, click “End Meeting.” Zoom will process the recording automatically. The file is saved in the Zoom recording folder on your computer. On Windows, it’s usually C:UsersYourNameDocumentsZoom. On Mac: /Documents/Zoom. The file name will include the date and start time (e.g.,
zoom_0.mp4). - Upload the file to this dropbox. Alternatively, you can upload the video to your YouTube account and then submit the YouTube link to the dropbox.
Grading criteria (100 pts):
- Clearly explains which guideline parts the intro paragraph follows (e.g., 1, 2, and 3). Supports claims with specific sentences from the paragraph (highlighted or pointed to on screen). [50 pts]
- Clearly explains where and how the paragraph departs from the guidelines. Supports claims with specific sentences from the paragraph (highlighted or pointed to on screen). Explains the impact of these departures on the reader. [50 pts]
