Make the following adjustments to the attached “GWAR #2 – breakout cover letter and executive summary (draft)” docx file:
- Include the attached vicinity map as a figure in the executive summary
- Work on the formatting. Everything being single-spaced and using block paragraph formatting.
- Some of the writing was a bit choppy or passive. I left comments on the document that point to examples, but as a general rule of thumb, work on making the writing more concise.
- There were also times when I was a bit confused by the way some things were explained. For example, when you state “the nature of this project, though will never receive any emphasis,” it is not clear at all what you mean by that. Rephrasing unclear or vague statements like that can help with the usability of this document.
- Finally, listing recommendations in a list would be a useful idea. That is something I would try.
- Make corrections per the attached “annotated feedback” pdf file to the “GWAR #2 – breakout cover letter and executive summary (draft)” docx file
- Include a PROJECT PERSONNEL page at the end including the following
- Stakeholders
- Mentors
- Client (San Diego State Univeristy)
- Design Team (Project Manager, Structural engineer, geotechnical engineer, construction engineer, site civil engineer, land devolepment engineer, water rescources engineer)
