For this discussion, we, as a class will continue to investigate the context of artworks. This time, we are going to discuss how cross-cultural influences may have played a role and identifying artworks that are multi-thematic.

Select any images, artworks, structures from this week’s section on Sustenance and Shelter. You will want to select something that you can discuss with regards to:

• cross cultural influence: the example must have influenced another culture or was influenced by another culture
• multi-thematic: the example must have characteristics of many themes present; identify the the themes from the table below (from Module 2). We have not learned about all themes yet, which is ok. Do your best to interpret the themes that are present in your example 🙂

      2. multi-thematic: the example must have characteristics of many themes present; identify the the themes from the table above.

4. In your discussion post:

(1) share an image/s, please embed the image.

(2) discuss the cross cultural influence: please be specific and provide details, examples, resources to support your statements

(3) discuss how it can be discussed as multi-thematic: please be specific and provide details, examples, resources to support your statements

Your post should be approximately 150-200 words or up to 4 minutes (if a video/audio response).
