For this assignment you can write an essay, record a podcast, make a screencast, or craft a digital presentation with Power Point or another digital tool. Be sure there is an introduction and a conclusion. Use two outside-the-class sources. This assignment is 750 to 1,250 words or three to five pages double-spaced or a five to 10 minute podcast/screencast.

For this assignment, you can also use different presentation styles. For this assignment you can write an essay, record a podcast, make a screencast, or craft a digital presentation with Power Point or another digital presentation tool. Be sure that the digital format is compatible with D2L (can be uploaded and opened in D2L). Be sure there is an introduction and a conclusion. Use two outside-the-class, Metro State Library sources. This assignment is 500 to 1,250 words or two to five pages double-spaced or a four to 10 minute podcast/screencast or 10 to 15 slides.

1. In this assignment you need to choose an object or physical item that you can analyze. You can use an item from your own culture or from another culture. You do not have to use a family heirloom or something that you own. Please do not analyze sacred items that would require sensitive handling and permissions.

2. Use a theme that you notice from A Bag Worth a Pony or All that She Carried, and/or the lecture notes to deeply analyze the item.

3. Use a concept (a term or key word) from the lecture notes and readings. You will have at least one source (textbook or Metro State Library source) that requires a reference and in-text citations related to that source.

4. Include an introduction and a conclusion.
