Objective
The purpose of this paper is to connect self-awareness with core Organizational Behaviour concepts. Using three out of the six self-assessment tests provided, you must critically reflect on your own results and relate them to theories and concepts from chapters of the required textbook.
The emphasis is on interpreting, connecting, and critically evaluating the resultsnot simply describing what appears in the test.
Available Self-Assessment Tests. Choose 3 out of the following:
- How Well Do You Recognize and Regulate Emotions
- How Stressed Are You?
- What is Your Attitude Toward Money?
- What Is Your Preferred Decision-Making Style?
- Are You A Team Player?
- Are You Ready for Change?
Recommended Structure
1. Introduction (0.5 page)
- Brief explanation of the papers objective.
2. Analysis of Results (three main sections, one for each test chosen)
For each selected test:
- Briefly explain your result (focus on essentials, not exhaustive numbers).
- Connect your result to theory studied in class: link your test outcome to concepts from the book.
- Critical reflection: discuss how much you identify with your result, what limitations you find in the test, and how these traits could affect your behavior in teams, as a leader or as a member of an organization.
3. Integrative Discussion (11.5 pages)
- Connect your three results. Do you see coherence, contradictions, or complementarity?
- Reflect on how these characteristics may influence your future academic and professional development.
- Consider the impact on multicultural teamwork and leadership styles.
4. Conclusion (0.5 to 1 page)
- Summarize key lessons learned about yourself.
- Explain how this self-knowledge can help you interact more effectively in organizational contexts.
5. References
- You must cite chapters of the textbook.
- You may include additional sources (scholarly articles, complementary books, etc.).
