For our last unit of the course we are taking a look at comparative foreign policy!
For weeks fourteen and fifteen we will be looking at how we begin to understand how foreign policy decisions are made, by looking at a classic book titled Essence of Decision: Explaining the Cuban Missile Crisis by Allison and Zelikow. After going through the lecture slides, reading the chapter uploaded, and watching some of the clips, I want you to debate about which of the three models best explains the outcome of the Cuban Missile Crisis.
Here we are looking at the decision making aspects by focusing on leaders, organizations, or politics.
