Alright, now that we have submitted our paper topics and completed our midterm, we will now turn once again to our research paper which is due on the last day of class.
For your paper you will need three scholarly sources. This includes academic peer-reviewed articles, books, or essays. It can also include primary sources such as speeches or official historic documents. For your assignment I want you to submit at least three sources that you will be using for your paper.
You can find sources on the library website data base: . Or you can also find sources using Google Scholar (Although these are not always listed). For historical sources, you can look at official government archives like the National Archives or Presidential Libraries or government agencies like the Department of State (just to name one). You can also use think tanks to find research material. Some notable think tanks include: The Council on Foreign Relations, The American Enterprise Institute, Foundation for the Advancement of Freedom, The Brooking Institute, the Atlantic Council, and so forth.
What I want you to avoid are blogs, opinion pieces, and mundane online sources like Britannica.com or any of the online encyclopedias. These are good to begin to to get oriented but they do not provide much more beyond this. No wikipidia.
And absolutely no AI for this paper. I want you to practice looking for sources on your own.
