Project 4: Researched Argument Paper on the THEME of a Superhero or Super Villain in the Marvel/DC Universe

Directions: Your assignment is to research a theme of a Marvel or DC film or TV/Online series as it relates to a Superhero or Super Villain and use that research to inform and contextualize your reading of the comic, film, or series. See the materials I’ve posted (and will continue to post) on Canvas, beginning with Week 11 under Canvas/Modules. You should use alternative sources from online and the Page library database and catalog. You must use 4-6 sources (2 must be peer-reviewed sources from the Page Library database). Your cogent analysis must be formatted in correct MLA style and be between 1000-1200 words (about 4-5 pages) with MLA in-text citation and your sources must be entries on the works cited page. Assignment due in the Canvas Assignment by class time on Tuesday, April 28th.
Important Note: You should be writing about an explicit theme of a specific film, graphic novel, comic story–not a report on a superhero or franchise. You must use the term “theme” in your paper and especially in your thesis statement.
