My Idea:
I want to focus on the Blue LED (the tiny blue light-emitting diode).
Key points to include:
At first glance, its just a tiny, almost invisible plastic dot.
Invented in the early 1990s by Japanese scientists Isamu Akasaki, Hiroshi Amano, and Shuji Nakamura (Nobel Prize in Physics 2014).
Before the blue LED, creating bright and energy-efficient white light was extremely difficult.
This small invention enabled white light by combining blue LED with phosphor.
Connection with Pietro Morello : Just like Pietro created special glasses to show how he sees the world in yellow due to his condition, the blue LED allows us to see and light the world in a completely new way.
