Scenario
You recently started your first job as a PMHNP at a primary care facility. You are the only PMHNP at the facility, so patients frequently are required to see their primary care provider until an appointment with you is available. Many primary care providers have expressed their discomfort working with mental health patients. You have decided to develop a resource guide for all providers to assist them in developing advanced practice skills to establish therapeutic relationships with their patients. The resource guide will also include information on reflective practices.
Instructions
For this assignment, create a resource for the providers in the scenario. The resource should be in the form of a manual, including properly cited images where applicable. The training content must cover the following topics with examples and supporting evidence:
